After use, rinse your Mahina underwear with cold water to remove any excess blood. You can then hand wash your Mahina with a gentle soap. For a thorough rinse, you can put your Mahina in the washing machine, as you would your other clothes, after a rinse. Make sure you don’t use any bleach or fabric softener as they can damage your Mahina. Don’t wring, iron or tumble dry your Mahina either to ensure it’s just as effective after every wash. As long as you’re taking care of your Mahina underwear, it’ll be good as new after every use.

We do suggest that you rinse your underwear thoroughly in cold, running water. However, washing your Period Underwear along with your other laundry is completely hygienic, and rest assured, your other clothes will be absolutely fine. Since the blood has already been washed out, the underwear will not stain or discolour any other clothes in the machine. So, go ahead and toss them in with your regular laundry without any concerns.

Yes, of course. You can use the same Mahina underwear for up to 100 washes, as long as you follow the suggested wash and care instructions.

Our underwear is suitable for all ages. From your first period to your last, you can wear Mahina underwear throughout your menstruating life.

The number of pairs you need depends on your flow, your preference and how often you’re able to wash your Mahina underwear. As a starting point though, we recommend having at least 4 to 5 pairs of various absorbency levels to take you through an entire cycle.

Since our underwear is washable and reusable for up to 100 washes, the 4 pairs you use for one cycle can be repeated for every cycle throughout the year. However, we recommend having extra pairs as backups always so that you’re prepared in case one or two pairs aren’t washed.

Absolutely! We prioritise sustainability and use planet-friendly materials and processes in the production of all Mahina underwear. 

Yes, our underwear is suitable for physical activities, including exercise. However, Mahina underwear is not intended for use as swimwear, so we wouldn’t recommend that.

To find out when your order is arriving, you need to log into your account on the Homepage. Click on ‘My Orders’ to see the status of your current order as well as your order history. You can also simply click on the Order ID to check your order status. 

Once your order has been successfully placed, you will immediately receive confirmation and order details via email and SMS. When your products have been shipped, you will be notified via email, SMS and WhatsApp.

In case you’d like to cancel an existing order, go to the ‘My Orders’ section under the main menu of your App or Website and then select the order you want to cancel. If your return shipment has been picked and is in transit, we request you to wait for a refund. The refund will be credited to the source account once the parcel reaches the warehouse and the quality is verified. The refund process is normally initiated within 72 hours days after the parcels are collected by the courier team.

Yes we do. We conduct thorough testing on Mahina underwear to ensure you’re getting a highly effective and safe product. We perform a Leakage test to determine the efficacy, an Appearance test to determine longevity, a Peel Bond Strength test to determine durability, and a Toxicology test to rule out the existence of harmful chemicals and materials. We at Mahina strive to be more planet-friendly and therefore use materials that help us achieve that. Our products are shipped in a bioplastic that is compostable, as well as a cardbox box that’s reusable and biodegradable.
